CHARITY OF THE MONTH: In honor of Black History Month, we have chosen "Mobilizing African American Mothers through Empowerment (MAAME)" as our current charity. MAAME (Mobilizing American American Mothers through empowerment) works to empower pregnant women of color by offering resources, services and support for maternal health and wellness. MAAME works to decrease poverty in communities of color by creating economic opportunities for postpartum caregivers.
